Project New Generation LLC is Hiring a Direct Care Worker (FT) Near Florence, AZ
We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to provide services to individuals in their homes. You will assist them in performing daily living activities and provide assistance with essential services, like bathing, dressing and grooming. A good DCW has a compassionate personality and is able to exercise proper caregiving skills, while observing all health and safety standards.
Job Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients in your care.
- Record a patient’s condition in their chart.
- Monitor a patient’s condition and provide information to their family members.
- Communicate with patients’ doctor about a patients’ health.
- Perform duties that are assigned with accuracy and speed.
- Record all activities of daily living caregiving for patients in their chart.
- Observe patients under your care.
- Stay in constant communication with the Office of Patient Care and Medical Affairs (PCA) and Provider Services Team (PST) to ensure compliance with the PCA’s policies and procedures.
- Complete other related tasks as assigned by the PCA, including but not limited to, documentation, charting, etc.
- A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- At least one year of experience as a direct care worker is preferred.
- Willingness to observe all safety and health standards under direction of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
